Windsor and Essex County residents went to the voting booth on Monday, and generally kept the status quo, although there will be some new faces sprinkled throughout the region.Following are the newly elected mayor and councillors from the City of Windsor:

In the County, Gary Baxter is the new mayor of LaSalle, while Tom Bain takes over the reins in Lakeshore. Returning to their posts are Nelson Santos in Kingsville, Ron McDermott in Essex, Gary McNamara in Tecumseh, and Wayne Hurst in Amherstburg. Rick Masse takes over from Bill Krestel in Pelee Island, and John Adams was acclaimed in Leamington.
