On Friday, Windsor Mayor Eddie Francis launched the first-ever line of city-branded products designed and made by Roots, just in time for the holiday period. The specialized apparel will be available in two locations – Tunnel Duty Free Shop and Freeds of Windsor – with other locations expected to be added in the coming months.

Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services today increased its credit outlook for the City of Windsor from AA-Stable to AA-Positive. This positive outlook reflects Standard & Poor’s expectation that the City of Windsor’s debt is on a downward trend and that budgets are being properly monitored. (more…)
Detroit Tigers fans are being presented with the chance to buy World Series banners. The official Tigers baseball team banners decorated the streets of downtown Windsor during the recent pro baseball championship. 100 banners at a price of $120 apiece, tax included, are available now.
